How to combine passwords from two different browsers in two different computers.

What is the best way to combine passwords in two different browsers on two different iMac computers? I was using an older iMac and used Firefox. I bought a new iMac 4 and have been using Safari on the new iMac. the new iMac has some very old passwords in its Safari browser (from earlier usage on the older computer).

What is the best way to combine the passwords in these two computers. I believe it is recommended to use Safari on my new iMac, rather than Firefox. Or should I import the passwords from the older iMac (Firefox) into the new iMac (Safari)?

Or does it really matter which browser I use?

I'll reply to my post regarding passwords. I just discovered that the passwords from Firefox on my old iMac did not transfer to the Firefox on my new iMac 4. Can I transfer the Firefox passwords from the old iMac to the new iMac 4? Then can I combine them with those on the Safari browser on the iMac 4? Sorry for making this so complicated.

Need advice. Thanks

How to reconcile? Manually, unfortunately.

You know which passwords are current, and which are not.

By default, Firefox maintains its own password store, but Apple offers a Firefox extension that allows using the Apple password manager and Passwords app, and Firefox has an import/export.

Pick a password manager and storage, and use it. Apple’s Passwords app, or the Firefox store, or some other password manager.
