How to make Shortcuts app display banner for 3rd-party app shortcuts on iOS 26?

how do you get the shortcuts app to only display a banner when you run a shortcut from within 3rd party apps on iOS 26

you can’t.

On iOS 26, Apple removed user control over when Shortcut banners appear, especially for shortcuts triggered from third-party apps. There is no supported setting to make banners appear only in that case.
