Since I’ve updated to IOS 26 on my iPhone 16 I cannot use their Accessibility Reader to continuously read books on my Kindle. I am very unhappy with this feature not working. I’ve sent a message to Kindle also. I’m not sure if Kindle needs to fix this or Apple. My eye sight is poor and I’m really missing this. Kindle has a reader feature but it is horrible. I miss Siri.

well, I tested it in Apple Books and the Accessibility reader is having the same issue. It will only read the first page and then it stops. I am running iOS 26.2 at the moment and yes, this issue is still occurring. I will advise you to call the Apple Accessibility team and report the bug. I will do so as well. The more reports the faster they can get it fixed.

The first troubleshooting step to take with a third-party app is to delete and reinstall it. If that doesn't help, contact the developer.
I called Apple Accessibility and filed a bug report with them. Agree this needs to be fixed. We should have the same experience using Apple products as everyone else. The feature was working prior to the last update and now it is not so that means that the update broke the Accessibility reader somehow.
Sounds like Apple needs to get on this and fix it.
People with Special Needs deserve to have a better Accessibility Reader not to mention they are not complying with the WCAG standards. WCAG is a set of technical standards that, when followed, improve the accessibility of web content, websites, and web applications for people with a wide range of disabilities.

Was the Accessibility reader working prior to the update?
The Accessibility reader worked very well prior to the 26 IOS update. I’m so disappointed as I have trouble reading due to eye issues.
Well, I deleted and reinstalled the Kindle app and still doesn’t work.
I have also sent a msg to the developer.
Seems to me Apple and Amazon Kindle could work together to fix this.
