Reverting to a previous iOS version is generally not possible after an update because Apple stops "signing" older versions shortly after a new release. Once the update window closes, you cannot downgrade to an earlier, unsupported iOS.

Key Details on Downgrading:

  • Time Limitation: Apple revokes digital signatures for older versions within days of a new release, making reinstallation impossible.

  • Data Loss Risk: Even if a temporary window existed (e.g., during a beta), reverting often requires a full wipe and restore of the device, risking significant data loss.

  • Security Concerns: Apple prevents downgrading to maintain device security, as older versions lack the latest patches.

  • Potential Alternatives: If you are experiencing bugs after an update, it is recommended to wait a few days for the system to settle, or to restore from a backup made before the update via a computer.

If you are facing issues, a clean restore of the current iOS via a computer might help resolve performance issues.

I hope that helps.

.. ( ps. I Submitted FEEDBACK . On the Photos new UI .. awful , cant read my album names as icons too small and cant change !! )
  • Settings > Display and Brightness > Liquid Glass > Set it to Tinted.
  • Settings > Accessibility > Display and Text Size > Turn on Reduce Transparency and Increase Contrast. Also turn on Show Borders.
  • And if you'd like to reduce the animation effects, go to the Motion page of Accessibility and turn on Reduce Motion.
