qbittorrent dmg file does not run in MacOS 26

I got Open Office to install and then I got it to run using System Settings Security. However, I cannot even install qbittorrent because I get an error message from Apple. Is there a way to override that to launch the dmg file?

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 26.2

I found a solution. I had to run this command in a terminal window.

hdiutil attach ~/Downloads/qbittorrent-5.0.4.dmg

Then I could try to launch the application. When it failed, I was able to allow it in System Settings.

That's good but why would you want to run an app that is "barely supported"?
