New York Times Automated Voice Reader No Longer Working.
I have an older iPad Pro (9.7-inch) running IOS 16.7.12. I believe this was the latest IOS update for this iPad. When reading the New York Times on my iPad, most articles have a small "Play" button so that an automated voice reads the article.
That "Play" button recently stopped working. When you tap on it, nothing happens. I have unblocked pop-ups and stopped using content blockers on Safari. I have reset my iPad, erasing all contacts and settings and restored it from an iCloud backup. Then I deleted and reinstalled the New York Times app. None of this has fixed my issue.
Does anyone know what other steps I can take to restore the Automated Voice Reader?
