Student iPad Air Purchase After Offer Period – Any Options?

Hi everyone,

I’m a final-year engineering student and recently purchased an iPad Air in December for my studies. I later found out that during the Back to School offer (which ended in October), Apple was providing an Apple Pencil with eligible iPad purchases.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to buy the iPad during the offer period due to some personal issues at that time, even though the device was meant purely for academic use. As a student in my final year, the Apple Pencil would be extremely helpful for note-taking, problem-solving, and project work.

I understand that the promotion has officially ended, but I wanted to ask the community if anyone has had a similar experience or knows whether Apple ever considers exceptions or provides any alternative options in such cases.

Thanks in advance for any advice or guidance.

Discounts and offers, where offered, are available at time of purchase - and cannot be applied retrospectively.

For information - if purchased directly from Apple, you generally have 14-days within which Apple will unconditionally accept return of an undamaged device for exchange or refund. This opportunity can sometimes be helpful in being able to return for refund - and then make a new purchase with benefit of a discount/offer where available.

Student Discount programmes from Apple generally require that eligible students are enrolled in a recognised higher education programme within the country of purchase.

In most countries, the key to accessing Apple’s Educational Discount programme is being registered with UNiDAYS.
