CarPlay not working properly

My 2024 Honda CRV has reduced functionality in CarPlay. I have had the issue with both an IPhone 16 and a 17. The Music will not connect, and I can't use Siri for directions. I have taken the car to my dealership, and they say it's an Apple issue. Is anyone else having an issue like this?
