How can I bypass HomeKit security restriction for hands-free garage entry using HomePod?
I am very frustrated with the HomeKit security restriction that requires me to authenticate/unlock my iPhone every time I ask Siri to open the garage. This completely defeats the purpose of using my HomePod for hands-free entry when I arrive home.
I am looking for a workaround. I have heard about using 'Dummy Switches' or specific 'Automation triggers' to bypass this. Do you have an official recommendation or a guide on how to set this up so I can open my garage via Siri voice commands without needing to touch my phone?
Looking forward to hearing from you. Then there is litterly no point of using my apple home pod
