How do I remove an unknown iPhone from my iPad's Bluetooth list and prevent data loss?

PLATCO PR 1

I can not blue tooth my iPad to my iPhone . When I go under my items theres 2 iPhones . One is iPhone 13 and states it will be erased 12/27 . I’m very concerned about this I don’t want to lose that information. I did have a 13 way back .

First of all, iPhone and iPad cannot be paired via Bluetooth. You suggest you had an iPhone 13 at one time, what iPhone do you have now? If the 13 is going to be removed from your account, it won't have any affect on your current iPhone. I'm guessing the iPhone 13 you had was never fully erased per the directions in this link as it should have been --> What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

  • There is no feature for a bluetooth connection between an iPad and iPhone.
  • PLATCO PR 1 is a third party communications chip that could be related to a smart TV, home automation device or a device similar to an AirTag. Where are you seeing it?
  • Where are you seeing the iPhone 13 stating it will be erased on 12/27? Is this in the Find My app? Check the devices you have logged into your account at Settings > [name on top], and scroll to the bottom to see if the iPhone 13 is listed there.

Screenshots may be helpful as long is they do not contain any personal information.

I had one other issue I was hopping you could help .Why in my Bluetooth there is a PLATCO PR1 always on my list for iPad and iPhone ?

Is it on your list of connected devices or nearby?

If connected and there's no i icon to remove the bluetooth device, that would indicate it's paired to an app on your iPhone and you have to remove it from there. Typically associated with a health, home, or car app. Go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Bluetooth > remove it from there.

If it's nearby, it's likely some kind of consumer electronic you have which they sell.
