Photos app missing features in iPad OS 26.2

I cannot tell you why this works, but if you are in Crop mode with only the Rotate option, leaving the app open while changing to any other app and returning will cause the missing features to reappear. Makes no sense.

That's great! (But still weird!)

In the iOS 26.2 app if you open another app etc as below upon reopening it’s gone again.

bottom right hand corner reduce size of page a little they are at the bottom.

Well, drat! I just realized that I was on iPadOS 26.1. So I upgraded to 26.2, and ZAP! The tools were gone! I tried Clean Up to make sure that Apple Intelligence was working, and the tools were still missing. I don't get where they went!

Those tools are still available on iOS 26.2!

Let's let Apple know

This is different from a simple Power Off. For me, the logo appears way after the Power Off notice-- I have to just keep holding…

My 26.2 looks just like the screenshot, except that two tools are missing.
