iPhone 17 but iPhone 16 pro screen protector ?

bought an iphone17 from apple shop and they sold me a belkin iphone16pro ultraglass2 screen protector. is this correct ?

Those models do have the same screen size, and physical dimensions, so the protector could conceivably fit both models. Consult the manufacturer’s website for compatibility.
