Notifications for certain apps are not coming through

A month and a half ago i updated my iphone 13 pro to ios 18.7.2 as i’ve heard multiple reports from people that ios 26 could essentially brick any phone older than the 14. ive had no issues with it since then but last night it randomly decided to stop sending me notifications for certain apps, including twitter and telegram.

other app notifications are coming through fine, like whatsapp and gmail, but not the apps i actually use most and where notifications are important.

i have already restarted my phone twice, do not disturb is NOT turned on and i’ve tried turning notifications for all those apps off and on again. i’m at a loss for what to do now

no it’s not turned on. i’m still receiving notifications from all apps except twitter, telegram and instagram. my phone randomly asked if i wanted to add it to icloud last night, even though ive been using it for years now, and shortly after that the problems started

c-m17 You could make the notifications Persistent not temporary.

yeah sorry i don’t really know how to work this forum lol

the persistent or temporary only changes how long the actual notification appears on screen. persistent simply means the banner stays there until i swipe it away
