I m trying to save a shape style I created with Brush Type: Image. Image is coming from a preset particle Magic Wand. But Motion crashes every time.

I'm running an older version of Motion and I'm not having any trouble saving the Shape Style you're describing. It may be a version problem you might need to report with Provide Motion Feedback (Motion menu).
I would like to ask what are the Outline Width and Outline Spacing settings you have when you try to save the Shape Style? And, did you Transform: Scale the Magic Wand emitter as part of your styling? Any other transforms or alterations to the "preset" Magic Wand emitter?

Yes already report it.
Outline width 47. Space 80. No transformations or changes on the emitter and its cells.
I had a logo that client asked to transform it into Christmas lights. It has about 13 paths ( coming from Illustrator > SVG > Pixelmator > Motion) so I needed the Style to be saved to avoid making from start for any path/shape.
I get back to manual, and I found that I can mouse drag from shape to shape the style. That was very helpful.
