Deleted additional services interface option for my adapter- ethernet won't work now

I accidentally removed the additional services option in network for my adapter Hi guys, recently I wanted to use ethernet on my MacBook to do something that required more speed than my wi-fi. I plugged in an adapter that my dad uses for his MacBook to connect to his screens. I connected the ethernet cable to it and plugged it in. Nothing (all the cables are working good I checked , not a hardware issue ). Trying to fix it I deleted the interface that showed the adapter in the network section of my Mac. I can't bring it back or connect to ethernet. I can't add it back - only thunderbolt and other stuff appear as options

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 15.7
