Scammers use gift cards because the money is untraceable with a zero percent chance of recovery from the victim (you, Krestsammy).

If you ever encounter any "opportunity" that requires gift cards, it is usually a scam.

No legitimate business would ever require gift cards, period.

Report gift card scams to law enforcement because it is a crime.

Stay safe, be cautious.

Have a nice day! 👋🏼😉

U.S. Federal Trade Commission – Only scammers tell you to buy a gift card to pay them

"Did someone tell you to buy a gift card to pay a fine or bill? Stop. It’s a scam. No real business or government agency will ever tell you to buy a gift card to pay them."

"Once you add money to the card and give scammers the gift card number, your money is gone."
