Wired Headphones Suddenly Not Being Recognized Or Working With IPhone 15 Plus.

So, wired headphones suddenly stopped working with my iphone 15 plus out of nowhere. I have tried multiple different pairs of headphones, including a brand new pair, and all of them worked with another iPhone no problem. When I plug them in, nothing happens and any of the sound that plays, continues to just play out loud on the phone speakers, it’s as if they aren’t even registering that there are any plugged in to the phone at all. I am able to charge my phone no problem though and I can still use Bluetooth headphones with relatively no issues. I have tried getting the entire charging port replaced but they still won’t register with the phone. I need to be able to use wired headphones again, this is so unbelievably frustrating and to make things even worse, my device is no longer covered under the warranty and the apple care coverage has expired too. I only just got this phone last spring. Why does new technology have to bite the big one so hard..!? I would really appreciate any advice or suggestions that anyone has regarding this issue!
