Cannot customize existing Wallpapers. Pls

What happens when you try?

If you might have too many wallpapers configured, delete some, and try your customization again. (From the lock screen, press and hold until Customize shows, then slide up, and select the trashcan.)

If you have Screen Time or Parental Controls enabled, disable that, and test your customization again.

If your iPhone is supervised, contact the IT group supervising it.

If you can successfully create new ones, do that and ditch the existing ones. This is not an uncommon problem in 18 or 26

To customize, go to Settings > Wallpaper, tap Add New Wallpaper, and select your preferred source such as Photos, People, or Live Photo.You can then customize the wallpaper by adding widgets like Calendar, Clock, Weather, or Fitness, adjusting the time font and color, and applying photo styles such as Black & White or Depth Effect.

True but the question was about existing wallpaper.
