iPhone 17 Pro causing Wi-Fi issues for other devices on home network

My new iPhone 17 not only struggles with WIFI itself, but it is also seriously impacting other devices on my home WIFI network. I find this hard to believe but it is true.

I have tried every possible solution including hard resets of my router, calling my service provider and having them interrogate my router, wiping my iPhone and reinstalling, visiting my Apple Store, toggling off every possible parameter on my phone etc.

It is very frustrating and especially having spent a Million dollars on the 17 Pro.

My household is upset and I am not sure what to do.

Do you have a VPN installed on your iPhone, a cleaner app or Anti-Virus App? If yes, DUMP them as they don't provide any tangible benefit and they definitely cause connectivity issues.

Genius Bar took a look at the iPhone and said he saw seem weird router logs of some sort. Told me to completely wipe the phone and reinstall from my Mac so the firmware gets updated. I went home and did that but still have the problem.
He also said I can return it if I want, still under warranty.

We see people here with Wifi issues mostly caused by VPN's or other apps. But I don't recall seeing anyone say their phone caused other devices in the home to have issues with Wifi. So, if they're willing to replace the phone, I'd take them up on the offer.

The OP of the thread in question had tried a replacement 17 without success, but they were refusing to consider the router to be at fault because they were an "Expert." Ha!

If they are offering a swap, you could try.

Personally I would take my phones and ipads to a friend's house who has a different make of router and try it there.

2) do we think Apple will provide a fix in a new version of IOS

There is absolutely no evidence that indicates this is an Apple iOS issue.

The folks that suggested an exchange did so thinking perhaps your iPhone has a (extremely unusual) manufacturing defect. But a router problem as suggested above is much more likely. There is a zero chance this is iOS related.
