iPhone 16 display: Green lines and gray square

I have an iPhone 16, for about the last month I have had an issue with the display I will sometimes get green horizontal lines all through my screen, this will usually go away if I repeatedly adjust the brightness, I also have a grey square/section/line that will show up and I was able to get that to go away with restarting but now it seems stuck - sometimes it will move placement and sometimes the grey will flicker. My phone hasn’t been dropped or damaged and is only about a year old. I was hoping there was something I could do to fix this besides paying to have a new screen installed. I have included some photos I took of the grey (they obviously don’t show up in a screenshot) but I don’t yet have a picture of the green lines. Any help is appreciated

I thought it was the vertical green lines that were hardware failure? Mine are all horizontal, that’s what I saw when I first googled the issue. It’s super frustrating because the phone isn’t even that old and nothing has happened to it beyond just general use for a single year.

Also if I take it to Apple and the issue isn’t actively happening will it still show up on a diagnostic (the problem likes to come and go)? I’ve had iPhones for over a decade and I’ve never had to take one in for anything so I’m not sure what all that entails.
