how to I get my avatar sized right?

In the Contact list, on my iPhone (SE, iOS26.2), my avatar looks fine. Tiny circle with a picture of my dog (see top image below). But when I click on that contact to get the whole contact info page for me, my avatar is grossly blown up over the whole screen (see bottom image below). When I click on the contact for others, their picture shows up as a neat one-inch circle on their contact info page. How do I get my contact avatar to look small and tidy on my contact info page?

What you see below is your Contact Card, which by default enlarges your profile picture to make it what others see when you call them. Those with the standard circle icon are people who don't have a Contact Card set. If you tap Edit then Edit again, you still have it, and thats what others will see when you text them. The difference is the Contact Card is new and is for calls.

Thanks. So you're saying that if I tap edit, and then edit again, I see the unenlarged picture in a neat circle, and THAT is what others see when I text or call them? Now, that grossly enlarged picture isn't seen by anyone else, when I text them or call them. Right? So why is it grossly enlarging it for me?
