I'm running a macbook air m4 with a physical Nordic keyboard. The internal source is also Nordic. I'm trying to type <> from the button to the left of Z but I keep getting §° instead. Even keyboard viewer shows the correct arrows. US, Nordic and Nordic Legacy keyboard gives the same §°. Any way I can resolve it without reformatting the mac?
Can you get < > by pressing the key next to One 1?

Actually I can and it seems those two keys have swapped function entirely. For now I have swapped them to their proper function with karabiner but i'd like this fixed properly.

The note I linked to earlier provides the fixes I am aware of from earlier reports of this problem. If they don't meet your needs, and you have not updated to MacOS 26.2, you can try that, or doing a Reinstall. You can also contact Apple support for your country.
If by chance you find a new fix, please let us know and we will add it to the note.
