Jim, for info - your referenced link states three aliases, not five as suggested.

I did think I remembered it as being 5, but also that is why I always try and include an Apple Support article whenever possible. I was in debate for many years where you learn that an assertion is meaningless without any supporting documentation. We are here to help others and if I am wrong, I'll own it.

If you do set up an alias, note "By default, emails sent to an alias appear in your primary inbox."

I was just being supportive. Yes, it is limited to 3 but there was a different context where it mentioned 5 so it is easy to not remember all the details.
