Dictation stops working after clicking away on Mac Pro running macOS Tahoe

I have voice dictation enabled on my Mac Pro with Tahoe installed. Dictation works properly the first time, but I often need to click away from the window and then click back to continue using it.

This is MASSIVELY frustrating, and has been a long-standing problem!!

I switched away from Windows to Mac, becuase Mac "just worked"

Understood. But what is happening here is that the trigger key used to restart dictation in a window has NO effect no matter how many times to press it or how long you wait. You need to navigate away from the window, then navigate back to the window in order to re-enable dictation for ONE time.

Then you need to do this again, often I need to do this EACH time I use dictation.

Does this not happen to you? Do you use dictation much? I wonder what is different about our setups?

If there was something I could do to stop it, I would!!!
