Unable to find Watchlist in Apple TV app

I’ve added a few moving and shows to my watchlist in the Apple TV app, but I can’t seem to find it anywhere. The watchlist option isn’t even available in the profile section. This is a bit over-the-top by Apple and not what I’d expect. Can someone please guide me on where I can view or find my watchlist?

Shows or Movies you have saved using the "+" option are seen in the section titled "Continue Watching on Apple TV", which is the first section. On the iPhone, you may find the title as "Up Next on Apple TV". Screen shots of both platforms are shown below. When viewing on a TV, you have the same section when the Home or Apple TV tab is selected.

Thanks again, Mac. I followed all your steps but it made no difference. I still can’t see any section where the movies or shows I added to my watchlist on Apple TV iOS or macOS apps. I’m not sure if Apple accidentally missed adding that option or did it deliberately but it’s ridiculous. I think I should submit a feedback to Apple and hope they consider it. Your advice is much appreciated.

I would actually recommend Apple Support directly instead of Feedback, because you have a unique problem. Certainly the Up Next/Continue Watching section is seen on my Mac and 3 iPhones with different iOS versions, and also the Apple TV app on my LG TV. That is not something accidentally missed by Apple where Feedback would be beneficial as a Feature Request. What you are seeing is something due to an Account related problem or something specific to your iPhone or Network preventing communication with your account on Apple servers.

Contact Apple Support - Apple Support

Apple Support can provide remote diagnostics on your device and have account related access that we do not for a resolution. The VPN would be the most likely problem, but with it removed Apple may be able to determine if there is anything else blocking your account access. The Continue Watching feature is described here:

Personalize the Home tab in the Apple TV app on iPhone - Apple Support

Ok, this is what I would do:

  • Sign out of your account in the Apple TV app and sign back in. (upper right corner)
  • Force close the Apple TV app. Close an app on your iPhone or iPod touch - Apple Support
  • Go to Settings > Apps > TV and turn on Use Play History or toggle if it is already on.
  • Restart iPhone
  • If not using iOS 26.2, then update.
  • If using a VPN, then remove it, just turning it off is not likely to work. VPN connections to Apple servers can be problematic when attempting to access personal information.

Thanks, Mac.

I’ve added 2 movies to my Apple TV watchlist on my iPhone, but I haven’t started watching them yet. Unfortunately, as you explained, I can’t find the “Up next on Apple TV” section or any section with that name in the Apple TV app. I’ve even scrolled through all the sections but haven’t found any that have my 2 movies. Could you please see the screenshots and advise me?
