Hello,
Recently my MacBook Air 15” M2 2023 started doing strange creaking noises. I can hear it the most when i open/close the MacBook. I started hearing it more and more.

Since there is no user accessible way to adjust the MBA hinge, there is little to do to address this than have it examined by Apple or an authorized service provider.
I'm not sure it would be worth the fuss, but it's your Mac and your call.

If this were my MacBook, I think a single drop of silicone lubricant - 1 drop, no spray, apply with a Q-tip swab - at each end of the hinge might be in order. Apple does not specifically recommend this, but it doesn't seem unreasonable. Would this be warranty voiding? 🤷🏽♂️ I wouldn't think so.
See what your service tech has to say about the problem first.

Well, if you're sure about the hinge, and the Mac is still covered by AppleCare+, then it's best to take it in and let Apple have a look, if it's something that's gonna continue to trouble you.
Otherwise, one more thing you can easily do is loosen the four screws and reseat the bottom panel. It might be just that simple.
Thanks... But its not in the hinge... I just hear it most when i open/close. it looks like its in the bottom panel (the panel to access motherboard)
