shortcut to list photos few days before yesterday did not work

It is probably because "Current Date" is today's date and time. So any photo created today but earlier in the day are included.

Try using this shortcut instead: Find Photos. (It formats the current date to strip the time.)

This is a better process to achieve the desired result. Follow as shown in the pic below
