Have an iPhone 12 all of a sudden the ear receiver will not work. Cannot listen to voicemails without putting it on speaker or hear calls without putting it on speaker. It was fine earlier. This is very random. It is not dirty. There is no damage help please

It was a service campaign, not a total recall. In other words, during the time the campaign was available, if a user suffered a loss of the ear speaker, it would have been covered. Apple didn't actually recall ALL iPhone 12 phones around the globe. Hence why you weren't notified.
Iphone 12 were known for losing ear speaker function, and there was a free product recall and repair, but that is now past. I found out too late for mine . It will cost more. than $400 to repair it at Apple.

Neither did I, even after contacting Apple Support who did a diagnostics online.
Appreciate that but link will not work, I also do not use any headphones and I have attempted all the quick fixes. Nothing is working.
