iCloud shared folder alias shows blank icon in Dock

Question

I created a shared folder: iCloud_Shared Folders_FolderX
I created and Alias of FolderX and placed in on Local Desktop
When I scroll in the Dock through Desktop Folder Stack then FolderX is displayed as Blank Sheet icon (with Alias arrow) all other visualizations (grid, list) replicate the same issue
When I drag FolderX to the Dock it is also displayed as Blank Sheet icon not as a Folder icon

Is this a bug?

MacOS 15.6.1 (24G90) on Intel iMac (3.3 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i5, AMD Radeon Pro 5300 4 GB, 128 GB 2667 MHz DDR4)

After following the steps you detailed above, I can confirm all that you see and describe.

I'm running a MacBook Air M2 with macOS Sequoia 15.7.3.

As a workaround you can use this image to set the alias' icon image to it via its Info pane.
