can't login in my routers page

i feel my macOS is preventing me from accessing my router’s settings page even though I had saved the password in my Keychain. The password was changed, and despite having it stored, I still can’t log in to the router page. It’s frustrating because I know the credentials, but Apple’s system seems to block me from successfully signing in to manage my routers weak settings

Hmm, I wonder if this is related somehow to my access to the Open Media Vault that are running on Raspberry Pi's on my local network. In my case, I don't use Google, but Brave instead. I can access the Pi's login page, but all I get is a spinning cursor. Switching to Safari, no problems whatsoever. Maybe something changed in the Chromium engine?

I don't know anything about Brave. I tracked down the source of the problem with Chrome here in this thread. So if Brave is using the same kinds of duplicate internal frameworks, then that would be the same problem. Unfortunately, once these folks get their mind made up about something, you can't convince them otherwise.

Not a lot of information to go on with your post.

Please provide the following:

  • Version of macOS your Mac is running. I see you posted in the macOS Tahoe area, but just wanted to be sure.
  • Make & model of your router.
  • Were you able to log into your router before? If so, what has changed since then?
  • Do you own the router? If not, does your ISP allow you to log into their router?
  • What exactly happens when you try logging into the router? Do you see any error messages?
  • Have you simply tried restarting your router?
  • What exactly have you tried, so far yourself, to resolve this issue?
