Some iCloud Data isn't syncing

Preface: I should not have to be dealing with this on a brand new Mac Mini.

I'm getting the dreaded error message "Some iCloud Data isn't syncing".

I'm an IT technician. I'm well versed in Unix, Linux, Windows. I understand that this is a KNOWN ISSUE with new Macs.

I've tried various fixes to no avail, it outright rejects ANY passcode from ANY device, and my recovery key.

I need a solution please.

Wrong device names or duplicated names in iCloud, sign in problems, payment problems, syncing errors, unavailability, performance issues, it never ends. You need to focus more on software reliability than endless hardware releases.

I managed to resolve this by removing several duplicated/obsolete devices from iCloud, leaving just my iPhone and Mac Mini remaining, then resetting both Apple ID password and device passcode. It still rejected the newly set passcode from my iPhone but it did finally accept the previous passcode and is now syncing correctly.

Still an absolute joke and a waste of two days without access to valuable iCloud data.

Apple support were very helpful however but they could not resolve the issue (it was escalated but since resolved).
