Back of Watch fell off

Hi everyone,

Since the day I bought my Apple Watch Ultra, I’ve really loved using it. We’ve been through good days, bad days, workouts, stress, weather… you name it. We’ve had a real journey together.

But I guess it didn’t love me back as much as I loved it 😄

Because one day, completely out of nowhere, the back cover just came off by itself. No drop, no impact, nothing. Maybe it just got tired after all those days together!

So I booked a Genius Bar appointment, hoping it could be repaired and we could go back to our old days together. But unfortunately, even though the damage wasn’t caused by me, I was told the only solution was a paid replacement device.

They also clearly stated that the fault wasn’t user-caused — but still, the only option was to pay for a new one. And the price… well, let’s just say that if I bought another one here in Turkey, I’d probably have to live like a monk for about three months just to afford it 😅 My salary simply doesn’t stretch that far.

All I wanted was to keep using the watch I really loved. But now it looks like that won’t be possible. So maybe it’s time for me to move on and let my loyal old watch retire.

I just wanted to leave this story here.
