Is "Join CD tracks" gone in Apple Music?

In Apple Music 1.6.1.44 (MacOS Tahoe) when I import a CD usually there is the option to "Join CD Tracks" under the gear icon. This is now gone. In the import dialog I have the disc correctly sorted by the leftmost column, and have selected several adjacent tracks. But under the gear icon the "Join CD Tracks" option is simply not there. Has anyone else encountered this?
