Occasional "flicker" with 27" Studio Display, on an M1 Studio Mac

At first I only noticed when invoking Adobe Camera Raw. But I also notice while looking at images on iCloud, on Safari. And every now and then I'll see it while browsing a site. Seems it's a software/hardware Studio thing, rather than a display thing.

Mac Studio, macOS 26.2

Startup the Mac Studio in Safe Mode, wait several minutes, then Restart normally and Test.

Check the cable connections at both ends, to make sure that they are tight.

Move the cable to a different port on the back of the Mac studio.

Test a new Thunderbolt 4 Pro or Thunderbolt 5 Pro cable.

Then if those things do not help..?

20 inches. But if the stock cable wasn’t adequate, it would have been an issue when I initially got it years ago. Are you saying Apple did something with their latest OS that now requires me to buy a $125 cable?

You changed the cable as a test for a BROKEN cable. If the ThunderBolt replacement was 20 inches, that is appropriately short and within the required specs. if nothing changed, the problem lies elsewhere.

No, you are not required to buy a different cable.
