Recurring data loss and freezing in Pages on macOS Tahoe

I have a problem with Pages that didn't occur until I downloaded the latest OS (Tahoe and its updates). The issue is about writing for a period of time, saving the document, then the freeze ball starts spinning, the application is not responding, I have to Force Quit after several minutes of hoping and praying, and then most of what I wrote has disappeared. This requires me to try to remember what I did and recreate it. This has happened on multiple occasions. I have plenty of storage in the cloud, support has tried it with the auto save on and off, they had me do a test user, and I reinstalled Tahoe, but to no avail this problem keeps on happening.
