Third-party URL requests Keychain access, password unknown

Safari.app keeps asking for access to the Keychain, but I don’t know the password anymore because I never needed it before. How can I fix this?

iCloud Keychain - How to access 'never ask for this site' for a website password? Hello, When first entering credentials for a website, I occasionally (but not always) get the option to 'never ask for this site' in the options for saving the credentials to my iCloud Keychain. What I'm trying to figure out is: 1 - It feels like this is sporadic. Any reason why? 2 - How do I toggle an existing password to use this option? To provide a bit more background information, I use a Mac with only Safari installed and iCloud Keychain as my only password manager. I have the latest software updates for all. The last time I was able to save 'never ask for this site' was yesterday. Looking in my iCloud keychain I notice the following: The entry shows my login as - and the password as 'never saved'. Also, the entry appears on my Mac, but not on my iPhone. I tried changing an existing password and login to use the same credentials, but it doesn't seem to recognize it if I do it this way. I'd love to use this option with a few sites if anyone can help with how to access it and convert existing credentials to not ask. Tyvm!

The Keychain password is normally the same as your Mac user password.

If you need to update your keychain password on Mac - Apple Support describes what to do.

The keychain has all of your id/passwords.

Why does this website require access to this? I'd be very cautious about this website.
