How to limit/narrow viewing the Music app information on my desktop monitor

How can I control the view of Music app on my desktop? I like to play music in the background and I like to do it selecting things that Apple Music will suggest. But the app takes up at minimum 3" x 5" of space on my monitor and the bar that shows the specific song being played, which is about a half inch tall can't be moved anywhere else. At the very least I'd like to pin it at the top of Music so I can put the app down in the lower L corner of the monitor - if I try to move it up to the top it triggers something I don't want]. I don't want to see everything else. I just want the bar so I know what's playing or I can move off to another thing that could be playing. But I don't want the whole music app to take over my screen.
