MacBook Air M1 intermittent display with ghosted content

Hello everyone, I’m using a MacBook Air M1 (8 GB RAM, latest macOS) and I’m experiencing an intermittent display issue. Occasionally the screen shows duplicated/ghosted content and lines, but screenshots always appear normal. The issue disappears after the Mac goes to sleep, after locking the screen, or after a restart, and it is not affected by moving the lid. It tends to happen after heavy multitasking (PowerPoint files + browsers), but sometimes even while idle. I’ve already replaced the display before, so I want to confirm whether this is a known macOS / GPU / WindowServer issue on M1 with 8 GB unified memory, rather than a hardware or display cable problem. Has anyone experienced something similar or received official guidance from Apple?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 26.2

This usually indicates a hardware issue with the laptop's built-in Display Assembly which would require a hardware repair & replacement of the Display Assembly.
