No confirmation email received for sent audiobook gift

Hi everyone! I purchased an audiobook from Apple and sent as a gift.


I have looked EVERYWHERE and I cannot find an email or anything at all confirming that the gift was sent.


Tomorrow is my Dad’s birthday and I chose to have it sent today…. It’s not like my Dad not to let me know he received a gift so I’m wondering if he received it.


It seems odd that I wouldn’t have received anything from Apple confirming the gift had been sent.


Anyone else have this or a similar experience? Thank you!

Confirm a Books Gift was Sent:


Find the Invoice:

Go Here: View your Purchase History for the App Store and Other Apple Media Services - Apple Support. It will show you the Purchase History, and that it is gone through.

As it Reads: How to see your purchase history online

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
  2. Sign in with your Apple Account and password to see a list of your purchases.
  3. If you're not sure what you were charged for but know the amount of the charge, search for the amount.


Resend it:

  1. Go Here: Gift apps, media, and more from Apple - Apple Support
  2. Scroll to: Resend a gift
  3. As it Reads: If the recipient can't find the email with the redeem button, you can resend the gift.

The recipient of your gift must have an Apple Account in your country or region. For example, if you're in the United States, you can't send a gift to a friend who lives in Australia.


In some regions, you can't send gifts. Store availability also varies by country or region. Find out what's available in your country or region.
