Update my Apple Community profile display name

Contacting them by email with a few name suggestions means they may be able to give you one of those. Otherwise the hosts appear to randomly assign you one—which you may or may not like. If you find you already have one assigned by the hosts without consultation then it may be another community helper reported your wish directly to the hosts. If you want a name you would like I would act quickly. ;-)

Getting a new community name is a bit of an exception so choose one that you like permanently.

Sure. Il let the Mods know on your behalf. Watch for an email from them to the address associated with your Apple Account/Apple ID.

Probably. Did you read what had already been posted about this? If you are going to piggyback on an existing thread then you may find your question has already been answered. I posted about how to optimally do this, otherwise you may end up with a new name you don't like any better than your old one.
