Why does my exes name keep popping up when I’ve deleted all their info off my phone?

And if there is an (i) in a circle next to anything like that, tap it and see if there is a delete from recents button.

That is probably Siri as Sravankra was suggesting, except it is nigh on impossible to get Siri to forget. Maybe make sure all siri suggestions are turned off.

Make Siri Forget.

have you tried to go into Siri settings and clear the Siri history?

would performing a factory reset on the iPhone and setting it up as a new device also clear the series, history and suggestions history? Normally when I wipe my phone, I always set it up as a new device so it does not download apps and what not but it’s still will upload contacts or at least the last time it was backed up in iCloud. Maybe the contact of the ex was probably family sharing plan?

OK, so walk us through the steps on how the contact appears. When you start to type in the first letter of their name or their phone number, then the contact appears? Does that also happen in the Messages app or in the email app for example?
