I recently migrated from an Android to Iphone 16 Pro Max.
Please help me to move my whatsapp data and back up from android / google drive to Iphone / Icloud.
I've already set-up my Iphone and cannot erase the data or factory reset now, so using "move to IOS" app is not an option.

It would probably be in the Transfer your chat history under help in the app. This would be achieved using QR codes and having phones close together. I downloaded WhatsApp to test this but I don’t save any of my chats and I accidentally set it up as a new number and had archive all chats settings on, and the only data I saw were my contacts and settings were in tact as they were in my Android. The app is designed to protect your data and it does just that by making it contained where its origin lies if that makes sense. What do you think? I could try again if you want me to test.
Update: it worked when I archived my chats, and registered as a new number from android to iPhone, I opted to transfer chats and said it was not available yet for iPhone, however, my chats I created were now there and I did opt for the end to end encryption backup. That may get you in the right direction but don’t rely on my method as I’m not certain.
