See icon below. It is on my ipad air M3 screen at all times ever since I updated to iOS 26 and then iOS 26.2. I have gone into Accessibility-Zoom and ensured Zoom was off, based on the suggestions, then turned my ipad off then back on, but it is still there. Any other suggestions for removing this?

For the benefit of others that may encounter this thread, many Users have observed that the Hover Text feature is unexpectedly enabled by the iPadOS 26 upgrade.
Hover Text is simply disabled from iPad settings:
Settings > Accessibility > [Vision] Hover Text > Hover Text - set to OFF
