iPhone contacts are not syncing with Macbook.
My messages sync, but I still see some phone numbers instead of contact name in messages on my Macbook.
Those contacts are not in my Macbook contact list.
I have tried EVERYTHING suggested that I can find.
Yes, both devices are syncing contacts to iCloud.

Sign out of your Apple ID/Account /iCloud on the Mac and back in again and compare your results

The current stable release of Tahoe including bug fixes, security updates is macOS 26.2

on your Mac, check:
contacts > Settings > Accounts > iCloud ....
make sure the iCloud username is correct
make sure [√[ Enable this account is checked
try changing fetching to every minute
Once completed, you can reset to auto.
All of my devices are up to date.
I signed out, restarted, and signed in on my macbook & my iphone.
Both are connected to icloud.
Still not syncing contacts from iphone to macbook
I had already checked and set those settings on my mac yesterday.
iCloud acct is and has been enabled.
No changes, nothing updated. Even after "every minute" since yesterday.
