Incorrect artwork in Music and Books apps on iPhone
I’m experiencing persistent, incorrect cover artwork across multiple Apple apps on my iPhone.
Details:
On my iPhone (iPhone 17 Pro Max, iOS 26.2), album artwork in the Music app and cover artwork in the Books app are incorrect.
The content itself is correct, but the artwork displayed belongs to different albums or books.
This occurs even after:
- Removing and re-adding the content
- Deleting all music from the device and re-syncing
- Verifying artwork is correct on the computer before syncing
- Restarting the device
