iPhone 16 Face ID issue

My iPhone 16 has suddenly started rejecting my Face ID.

I have lost a lot of weight but didn’t think to update my image.

The reset Face ID is not selectable so I don’t know how to update it as it keeps rejecting my face!

Is there a way around this?

If still a problem then perform a Force Restart:

Press and quickly release Volume Up
Press and quickly release Volume Down
Press and HOLD side button until the Apple Logo appears. It could take up to 15 seconds before you will see the Apple logo while holding the side button and you have to ignore anything else on the screen during that time. If you do not see the Apple logo, then try again as it may take a couple of attempts to get the speed and sequence of the key presses correct.

Do you have a VPN or profile managing your device? Check at Settings > General > VPN & Device Management. There should be nothing listed there.
