MacBook default login changed, unable to log in or switch

I guess I have 2 logins on my MacBook, one for the original ported from my old laptop and the other for the new version the Apple tech set up for me. Each has a different icon. The new one always came up as the default until 2 days ago. Now it’s the old one and I can’t login or switch. Any clues? If you can’t tell, I am a clueless user…

Ok, if you still have the old Mac you can use Migration Assistant to transfer its content to the new one.

Since you can't even log in, you will need to erase the new one before you could do that though. I agree it might be best to return to the Genius Bar and ask them to set it up again. Be sure to bring your other Mac, assuming you still have it.
