How can I reverse the mouse movement for vertical mice on Mac OS?

How to reverse mouse movements (not scrolling) so it works upside down:

Ever since the Apple IIe, I've just always used my mouse upside down, as in "tail" pointing towards me. I've gotten away with simply turning the mice physically upside down on the desk. Now with these vertical mice, I need to actually program the mouse so that up is down, left is right, and vice versa. The apps and solutions I've found simply address the scrolling issue, which is not the issue for me.

Any settings or programming solutions out there that won't require me to rewire my brain and still allow me to make effective use of the newer vertical mice?
