Magic Keyboard can't control second window on iPad Air

Windowed Apps Question

iPad Air Gen 5 with Apple Magic Keyboard

iPadOS 26

I use the Windowed Apps option in Settings/Multitasking & Gestures.

I like to use the Globe/option/Right Arrow sequence on my Magic Keyboard to put a window on the right side (or left).

I open Journal and use that keyboard sequence to put Journal on the right side of my iPad.

Then cmd/option/D to bring up the Dock.

Next tap on the Health app.

Health comes up in full screen in what I would say is ‘behind’ the Journal app.

I want to put Health on the left side of my iPad.

But a Globe/option/Left Arrow does not change the Health app. It moves Journal to the left side.

The only way I’ve found to resize Health is to tap and the top and bring up the Window menu.

Is there a way to get the Magic Keyboard to operate the Health app in this scenario?

Thanks for any help or advice!
