Pages: Export facing-page spreads as spreads in PDF

In Pages, it’s possible to design documents using facing pages (spreads). However, when exporting to PDF, Pages always outputs single pages, not spreads.

This makes it difficult to use Pages for:

• visual presentations
• any document where a spread is meant to be viewed as a single composition

Currently, the only workaround is to manually create a custom wide page, which breaks the facing-page workflow.

Is anyone else running into this limitation?

Are there better workarounds I may be missing?
